Synchronicity - Little 5 Points
Now until Sunday, Mar 7, 2010
Enjoy and support acclaimed local theatre company Synchronicity by seeing their 2 upcoming shows at 7 Stages Theatre nearby in L5P.

Free to Be, You and Me – created in the 70s by Marlo Thomas, Judy Blume, Alan Alda, Shel Silverstein and friends…a wonderful feel-good groovy musical for kids that breaks open gender roles and teaches kids that they can be whatever they want to be. It is also a rollicking, hula-hooping good time!
Runs 2/9/2010 to 3/7/2010 with shows Tues-Thurs@10:30am, Sat@1&3pm, Sun@2&4pm
(or schedule a tour at a school/etc – through early May).

Women and War – originally created in 2005 (and updated for this show) through interviews with nearly 50 Atlanta-based women whose lives have been affected by war. The result is a powerful tapestry of personal stories that get beyond the political to individual women's experience of war. Not a downer, but a transformative evening of laughter, resilience, deep emotions and the strength of women to survive. The show provides wonderful fodder for discussion with talkbacks at the end of each performance.
Runs 2/19/2010 to 3/7/2010 with shows Thurs-Sat@8pm, Sun@7pm.
